Toy Train Experience
Summer is on and the people are busy to decide where to head. There are a number of destinations to choose from Ooty, Niilgiri Hills, is one such destination which people would love to power upon. Taking a toy train for reaching t the summit is a very exciting experience. Chugging at a speed of less than 10kph, the ride is enjoyable. Starting from Mettupalayan, this little train passes through dark tunnels on the mountain side. Its proximity with tumbling water falls, roots of quite enthralling. Sun flowers are glowing decoding the hills side. These are a great pick to take home. Built in 19th century the train passes through 208 curves and 13 tunnels. The Botanical garden is known for its 200 different spices. Other important places so to visit Tiger Hill, The view from the top so breathe taking and one must trek upon once there.
