A migraine pain is a common type of headache that may be caused with symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, or sensitivity to light. Most of the people feel a throbbing pain only on one side of the head. Many people who get migraines have warning symptoms, called an aura, before the actual headache begins. A group of symptoms, usually vision disturbances, serve as a warning sign that a bad headache is coming. But most people do not have such warning signs. According to Desibaba information about 11 out of 100 people get migraines. In Migraine pain the headaches tend to start between the ages of 10 and 46 and may run in families. Migraine Pains are caused more often in women than men. It is said that pregnancy may reduce the number of migraines attacks. The study shows that at least 60 percent of women with a history of migraines have lesser such headaches during the last two trimesters of pregnancy. Till the 80s, scientists believed that migraines were due to changes in blood vessels within the brain. But today, most of them believe that the attack actually begins in the brain itself, and involves various nerve pathways and chemicals in the brain. Migraine pain attack can be initiated by stress, food, environmental changes, or some other factor. One very good cure is to listen to the latest and a golden oldie movie song, which will drift your mind and relieve your migraine.

Miscarriage

Thursday, April 3rd, 2008

An early pregnancy loss is defined as miscarriage, which is also called spontaneous abortion. The different types of miscarriage are the following. Threatened miscarriage is where spotting or bleeding in the first trimester occurs. The study says that about 20 percent of women will go on to miscarry completely. Desibaba sources found that during this stage the woman is monitored for further bleeding. The Ultrasound exams which are a diagnostic imaging technique which uses high-frequency sound waves and a computer to create images of blood vessels, tissues, and organs are usually performed to monitor growth of the fetus. Complete miscarriage is where the fetus, placenta, and other tissues are passed with bleeding. Incomplete miscarriage is when only a part of the tissues are passed while some remain in the uterus. In this case there may be heavy vaginal bleeding. Missed abortion is when the embryo or fetus dies, but is not conceded out of the uterus. Septic miscarriage is when the mother gets a fever and may have bleeding and discharge with a foul odor. Here abdominal pain is common. Septic miscarriage is a serious condition and can result in shock and organ failure if not treated. Antibiotics and dilation and curettage (D & C) may become necessary. In This dilation and curettage special instruments are used to remove the abnormal pregnancy. Recurrent miscarriage means more than three miscarriages. So some this is a common problem when they are pregnant, if only everything for as hunky dory like the good old film songs, where phases in life pass quickly and happily.

Getting cold in North India

Sunday, November 25th, 2007

The temperatures have been dipping a lot in the last couple of weeks here in North India especially New Delhi which is notorious for its polluted air and gets covered with heavy fog as and when temperatures go down. I haven’t seen a lot of fog lately but I am expecting the fog to show up in the next two days as the early morning temperatures have been less then 5 degrees celcius for the last few days which will surely trigger the foggy weather in time to come. Fog disrupts most of the international flights every year as most of the international flight take off and land at Delhi in the night time after midnight due to time zone differences with Europe where night flights are restricted due to sound pollution norms being very strict.

Electricity costs are going up

Friday, August 17th, 2007

About 3 years ago my electricity bill used to be around Rs3000 per month which has now gone up to more then 7000 every month thanks to the massive airconditioners I have got installed in the last 3 years one by one…  There are three of them in total and one is a big  ass 3 top split airconditioner which uses up the most amount of electricity followed by a two ton a/c and a 1.5 ton unit which is hardly ever used as its in the guest room. I am planning to built a new house with good electricity saving plans where I wont have to pay so much the keep the house cool in summers and heat it up in winters.

The flow of energy and matter in the biological environment is regulated through the food chains in the various ecosystems. The food chains are the source for the survival for all the living beings, the plants, animals and the human beings. The plants act as the producers by using the sun’s energy to make food for all other living things. It is said that all flesh is grass. The problem is that we are destroying the real saviors, the plants and the trees which give us everything, food clothes and the shelter.
