A Unique Cinema Hall
Thursday, September 4th, 2008There is a cinema theatre still known as Raj Mandir. People say it is compared to California’s Grommets Chinese Theatre. Indeed this cinema hall had given birth to golden history. Besides being booked for foreign tourists it is not being converted to multiplex. Built by Rajmal Suramer on 1st June 1976 in Jaipur, it was designed by famous architects Mr. Joshi. People are so much impressed by it design that they come more to see the hall than watching a movie. A little ahead of the Mach Hall a decorative hall is there where a soft music keeps on playing and people also enjoy light refreshment in dim light The Hall is fitted with 70mm screen and the first film screened in this theatre wad Rama Nadu Sagar’s Charas. At that time only tow shows were held first at 11.30am and the second at 6.15am but tourist’s attractions towards this cinema hall. Here movies are shown for longer duration. Because of its historical background the theatre continuous to have unique portion in amidst high rising buildings coming up round.
